The new 4,500m2 Hi-Tech Centre provides flexible laboratories, teaching spaces and development zones for A-level and undergraduate degree level students studying in the hi-tech sector, particularly in the electronics and photonics industry.
Predicting the requirements of the ever changing and developing electronics and photonics industry was a key challenge on this project, in order to provide a building that will continue to give leading edge teaching spaces in the years to come. The Building achieved BREEAM Excellent and EPC A, despite only a BREEAM Very Good being initially targeted.
This is our latest project with South Devon College following a relationship developed over the previous ten years.
