Working at Method

At Method we value ambitious, bright people. We have a friendly working environment in which people are encouraged to speak up and propose new ideas, ask questions, and to continually learn and develop. There is a great emphasis on equality, sustainability and employee mental health and we have an active programme of engaging with our local communities, which we know our employees and future talent value.

Don’t just take our word for it though, listen to what some of the team have to say in the video below.

Health and Wellbeing

We are committed to maintaining a healthy work-life, we operate a Hybrid Working policy so most of our roles will be a blend of working in the office and working remotely and you will find plenty of support if needed.

We have two dedicated mental health first aiders and two Diversity and Wellness Champions who organise diversity training and events and who are the main point of contact if anyone has any questions in relation to wellness, equality, diversity, or inclusion in the workplace.

Social & Sports

Our offices have a strong social culture with sports and charities event most months. Each office has its own social and sports representative and we have regular drinks evenings and meal events affording an opportunity to meet each other socially.

We have an active programme of engaging with our local communities, whether through fundraising events, or volunteering. We have a Charity Champion who arranges charity fundraising  and each office adopts one local charity a year who they support. Every employee has one day off a year to take part in a company volunteering event. Further details of the charities we are supporting in this current year can be found on our dedicated charity page.

All recent graduates who start with Method will be placed onto the Method Graduate Training Programme. Further details of this can be found on our Graduate Careers page.

We encourage employees to take up learning opportunities in the form of both technical and professional training, on the job learning, virtual and  through mentoring. We also have training champions who research and suggest suitable sources of training with the team, and who organise team-based CPDs.

We are engaged with local Schools, Colleges and Universities and work to raise awareness of careers in the built environment, giving careers talks and presentations and assisting with life skills such as CV writing and interview skills.
