The Rodney Street development is a build to rent residential scheme in Ancoats and will provide low-energy housing for Manchester City Council. 

The development consists of 118 (1-2 bed) apartments across 2 apartment blocks and 10 (3-4 bed) townhouses townhouses. Around 30% of the homes available at the Manchester Living Rent The remaining homes will be available at market rent. Secure cycle storage, parking and a landscaped public realm will also be provided.

Sustainability has played a significant role in the design, the scheme will be delivered using low carbon and low energy design principles and be fossil free. A combination of mechanical ventilation and heat recovery (MVHR) and heat pump technology helping keep running costs low for residents.

 Method Consulting are leading the M&E design and the Sustainability team are acting as embodied carbon consultants.
