This £2.5m scheme at London Road, Thurrock provides much-needed new build social housing for this part of Essex. The building was the site of the former Fox and Goose public house which was demolished in 2012 with the site developed as an affordable housing scheme of 25 apartments.
It was then sold to Estuary Housing Association on a ‘turnkey’ basis, with the handover of the finished development taking place in April 2014.
We provided specialist building services engineering design and Code for Sustainable Homes consultancy to the developers Hollybrook, to meet the challenges of a rapid construction programme and all of the apartments were required to achieve a Code Level 3 rating.
Hollybrook received an NHBC Pride in the Job award and Seal of Excellence award in September 2014.
