Kings Drive Care Home, Eastbourne
This new 85 en-suite bedroom care home in Eastbourne for Hallmark Care Homes has aspirations to achieve an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission and includes state of the art shared facilities including a cinema room, piano lounge, therapy room and interactive dining facilities.
The building services have been designed to include combined heat and power (CHP) to generate electricity on site from waste heat to minimise carbon emissions. Sympathetic design of the services will ensure that spaces are comfortable whilst also maintaining a residential feel. The ground floor also hosts residential suites for couples including bathroom and kitchen facilities to facilitate independent living wherever possible.
