This was a complex refurbishment project on a live site and we had to ensure the existing hospital could remain fully operational during the works. We worked closely with the site maintenance contractor Scion, to ensure shutdowns and alterations to existing services took place out of hours.
Our detailed design included specialist services with medical gases, close control air-conditioning and isolated power systems and UPS for the Category 4 environments – all designed to fully comply with the latest NHS standards.
