This unique £40 million service station on the M5 is independent of the major chains and has been developed by Westmoreland Ltd.

Designed for minimal environmental impact to the greenfield location, the 3 dimensionally curved green roofs blend into the existing rural landscape with local Cotswold stone walling the front elevations, and are barely visible from the motorway itself.

Glulam and timber framing create a large welcoming space for the independent cafes and an extensive farm shop which focus on providing local produce. A picnic area to the rear is acoustically protected from the motorway itself with wildlife planting and a pond to enhance the biodiversity of the associated green spaces.

Method provided advice and assistance with evidence provision to the main Contractor Buckingham, in support of the BREEAM assessment targeting a rating of Excellent.
