Bishop Chavasse C of E Primary School, Tonbridge, Kent
Bishop Chavasse Church of England Primary School is a £5m new build 2FE school that opened initially in temporary accommodation.
Procurement was through the EFA framework and was required to fully comply with the EFA Facilities Output Specification.
Ventilation uses a hybrid natural ventilation system with exposed concrete soffits to provide thermal mass and ensure good environmental conditions all year round.
The school is named after the former Bishop of Rochester, who competed in the 1908 Olympics and won the Victoria Cross in the First World War.
