We undertook the detailed design of the mechanical and electrical engineering services for this £3m extension to a precision medical products factory for the American firm Becton Dickinson Medical.
As well as the usual building services our scope of works included industrial process engineering including chilled water and compressed air for injection moulding machines.
We have engineered a heat recovery system to recycle waste heat from the air compressor to provide space heating for the factory and this reduced CO2 emissions by 120,000 kg per year.
