Elle Thomas

Elle Thomas is a Principal Engineer at Method Consulting with an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh. She is chartered with CIBSE and was named as one of their 30under30 engineers shaping the future of the industry in 2025.

Elle has led projects across several sectors, including education, heritage, residential and offices, but is particularly passionate about community projects and making beautiful, simple and efficient buildings that really work for their users. She has worked on several decarbonisation schemes and enjoys the challenge of breathing new life into existing buildings with adaptive reuse and low carbon goals. Alongside her engineering work, Elle is an environmental design lecturer at UCL’s Bartlett School of Architecture.
