Walker Logistics new development project near Swindon is a state-of-the-art 12,000m² industrial facility that blends modern logistics infrastructure with historical preservation.
Located at the historic RAF and USAAF Membury Airfield, the site will feature advanced office and staff amenities, expansive industrial space, and a unique aircraft museum. The museum, open to the public, will house a restored C-47 aircraft—originally stationed at Membury during World War II—and will showcase a rich collection of artifacts, photographs, and exhibits that commemorate the airfield’s wartime legacy.
Designed with a strong emphasis on sustainability, the building will achieve zero carbon emissions from both regulated and unregulated sources. This will be accomplished through the integration of air source heat pumps (ASHP) and photovoltaic (PV) technology.
