Health and Wellbeing

We are committed to maintaining a healthy work-life, we operate a Hybrid Working policy so most of our roles will be a blend of working in the office and working remotely and you will find plenty of support if needed.

We have two dedicated mental health first aiders and two Diversity and Wellness Champions who organise diversity training and events and who are the main point of contact if anyone has any questions in relation to wellness, equality, diversity, or inclusion in the workplace.

Social and Sports

Our offices have a strong social culture with sports and charities event most months. Each office has its own social and sports representative and regular events  provide fantastic opportunities to connect and engage with colleagues in a relaxed, social setting.

Charity

We are  committed to giving back to our local communities through an active programme of fundraising and volunteering initiatives. Each year, every office adopts a local charity to support, strengthening ties with the community and focusing efforts on meaningful causes. Our dedicated Charity Champions coordinate fundraising events, ensuring consistent engagement and support across all locations.

As part of this commitment, every employee is granted one day off annually to participate in company volunteering activities, promoting teamwork while making a tangible difference.

Training

At Method Consulting, all recent graduates join our dedicated Graduate Training Programme, designed to provide a strong foundation for their career development. Further details about this  programme can be found on our Graduate Careers page.

We actively encourage our employees to pursue a wide range of learning opportunities, including technical and professional training, hands-on experience, virtual courses, and mentoring. To support ongoing growth, we have Training Champions within our team who  research and recommend suitable training resources, ensuring that employees have access to the most relevant and beneficial opportunities. Additionally, they organize team-based CPD (Continuing Professional Development) sessions to foster collective learning and development.

Education

We actively collaborate with local schools, colleges, and universities to inspire the next generation about careers in the built environment. Through engaging careers talks and presentations, we aim to raise awareness of the diverse opportunities in our industry. Additionally, we assist students in developing essential life skills by offering guidance on CV writing and interview techniques, helping them build confidence and prepare for future success. This outreach reflects our commitment to supporting young talent and fostering a stronger connection between education and the built environment.
