Fulham Palace
Client: Fulham Palace Trust
Architect: Purcell Architects
Fulham Palace was founded around 704AD and since Tudor times was the Bishop of London’s country home. It is a Grade I listed building with additional Grade II listed buildings on the site and is a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
We are M&E consultants for a £2m HLF funded refurbishment project which includes a new ground-floor exhibition space and office space on the first floor, both within the existing Fulham Palace.
Great attention to detail has been essential to ensure that the M&E design is appropriate and sympathetic in terms of style and with the requirements of working with a Grade I listed building. The concealment of services and our extensive experience in conservation of such buildings means that this is the case.
