Architect: Ferguson Mann
An outline planning application has been submitted to transform the former Brooks Dye Works, an industrial site in St Werburghs in central Bristol, into a new mixed-use development of 102 homes and 10,000 sq ft of commercial space. Leading property consultancy JLL, working in conjunction with DJ Foley, prepared the application on behalf of the landowner, Folland Ltd, to secure the regeneration of the site.
The proposed project will redevelop the 3.5-acre site, which comprises a mixture of 19th and 20th-century buildings. The site has been derelict since the closure of former occupier Brooks Laundry in 2007.
Our sustainability team was involved with the masterplanning team in preparing the energy and sustainability statement and we undertook the BREEAM Communities Assessment.
