BREEAM: Very Good and Level 4 Code for Sustainable Homes
The former dairy site at 13-19 Croxted Road in Dulwich is being redeveloped to provide luxury apartments above four large speculative retail units and a new NHS doctor’s surgery with a pharmacy. The flats are required to achieve a Code for Sustainable Homes rating of Level 4, the retail units and doctor’s surgery are required to achieve BREEAM Very Good. Our engineers and sustainability team worked closely together to ensure a coherent approach throughout.
This is a confined site which required a lot of coordination to bring together the different aspects and maximise the overall value. To ensure flexibility and attract premium rents, there is space for the retail units to be designated as A1 or A3 units with space for kitchen extract equipment rising up through the building.
