New Brand, New Office for new-look Method Consulting.

** New Brand – New Office

Our re-brand was launched this month and everything, from our website to our business cards, now carries our new logo and our new corporate colour scheme. We feel that the style reflects Method Consulting’s outgoing personality and we’re happy that our modern logo’s clean and simple lines better reflects our image.

The new website isn’t just a matter of a change of style; it is much more mobile and tablet friendly and will give you quick access to useful information and resources.

** New Office

As part of our continued growth we have recently opened a new office in Bristol, run by Senior Associate, Matt Smith. Bristol is a strategic growth area for Method Consulting and we recognise that to give the area the best service, Matt and his team of engineers need to be on the spot.

We are located In Old Market Street, within walking distance of most areas of the city centre and we have already seen an increase in Bristol-based projects in the last few months.

** BREEAM New Construction 2018 is here

BREEAM 2018 was launched on 7 March and brings many changes. A few examples are…big changes for materials… new exemplary credit when lighting is manually dimmed by occupants down to 20% of the maximum… new credit when a compliant risk based security rating scheme has been used… new BREEAM Advisory Professional role replaces the Sustainability Champion… buildings are rewarded where more than 100% of CO[2] from energy use is offset by on-site or near-site LZC sources… and there’s much more. New projects can no longer be registered under BREEAM 2014.

WELL Buildings

Method Consulting is now qualified to provide WELL AP consultancy. The WELL Building Standard focuses on the health, wellbeing and comfort of the building’s occupants and assesses its design and construction in relation to this. Part of the aim of WELL Is to help improve things like employee productivity, engagement and retention and there are also synergies between WELL and BREEAM.

£55m Malgavita Works in Southall is progressing well on site… we have just added a large new 200 unit residential/retail building for the same client nearby… we now have 6 live ESFA academy projects and have started our first under the new 2017 framework… just started our fourth project in our Aston University framework…
