Method Consulting Becomes WELL AP Qualified!

We are excited to announce that Method Consulting is now qualified to provide Well AP consultancy. The WELL Building Standard focuses on the health, wellbeing and comfort of the building’s occupants and assesses its design and construction in relation to this. Administered by the International WELL Building Institute, the WELL Building Standard is based on scientific and technical evidence. Although US-based, it can be applied to projects in the UK.

WELL projects must be re-certified at least every three years. Therefore, providing this service means that Method not only helps to ensure that a project incorporates occupant wellbeing into the design and construction, but can verify that the building continues to perform well, for years after it has been occupied.

Three New Starters In November

Method Consulting is delighted to welcome three new starters this month, all of whom are recent graduates. Beth Turner joined our team as a Sustainability Consultant, with a BSc Honours degree in Geography. She contributes to providing BREEAM advice and assessment services. Chris Brown also joined our team as a Sustainability Consultant and has a similar role to Beth. He has a BSc Honours degree in Earth and Environmental Science.

We also welcome Halimah Ahmed to the new role of Business Development and Marketing Coordinator. She graduated with a BA (Honours) in English Literature from The University of Warwick in 2016 and has worked for a year in marketing before joining Method Consulting.

Charity Day Clear Up

Method’s annual charity day took place recently at which our staff got away from the office for a day to get physical for a good cause.

We have a charity day every year, and this time it was the turn of the Local Authority, Wiltshire Council, where we helped reopen a path that had become overgrown and had thus fallen into disuse.

The weather didn’t play ball, it rained most of the day, but a great deal was achieved by the enthusiastic young team led by this year’s Method Charity Rep, Lewis Jones.

Paul Millard, Senior Rights of Way Warden for Central Wiltshire, wrote to thank us:

“Thank you very much for organising the day, the weather was a little unkind but the guys and girls got stuck in and we had a really good fire and they managed to cut and burn a lot of material. We couldn’t have done such a good job without the help so thank you very much.”
